Term 4

In Term 4 our topic is "Bugs, Spiders and Butterflies," we are learning more about small creatures in our world.
Our values focus this term is Pride. We will show pride in our work, our learning and progress, and we will do our best.
This term Matua Mark will be working alongside Mrs Caudwell in C6.
Swimming has started. We will swim five days a week in weeks 5, 7, and 9. The children all need to bring tags and a towel in a plastic bag, even if it is wet. It may be fine by the time we swim just after 12N.

Our Glenholme School Values are respect, responsibility, pride, honesty, and a go-for-it attitude. You will see us trying our best to show these values in our learning, in class, and in the playground.

Pukehangi Athletics Sports Day

What a celebration today was!  Our tamariki really showed the Glenholme School Go-For-It Attitude.  I was so proud of them at at the high-jump, where some of our littlest children were in the finalists.  The wonderful thing about the day was the amazing support we had from whanau, with many parents and grandparents cheering and supporting their moko. Thanks to Mrs Hewitt for the smooth organisation.  Those children who were place-getters in their age sprint finals will receive a certificate at Pukehangi Assembly.
Well done to the C6 Year 2 relay team who WASTED the competition today.  Superb running!
