Term 4

In Term 4 our topic is "Bugs, Spiders and Butterflies," we are learning more about small creatures in our world.
Our values focus this term is Pride. We will show pride in our work, our learning and progress, and we will do our best.
This term Matua Mark will be working alongside Mrs Caudwell in C6.
Swimming has started. We will swim five days a week in weeks 5, 7, and 9. The children all need to bring tags and a towel in a plastic bag, even if it is wet. It may be fine by the time we swim just after 12N.

Glenholme School Values

Our Glenholme School Values are respect, responsibility, pride, honesty, and a go-for-it attitude. You will see us trying our best to show these values in our learning, in class, and in the playground.

Learning Intentions

Kia ora whanau,
At times through this year I will share with you the Specific Learning Intentions for each group in Reading, Writing, and Maths.  If your child's name is on the label at the end of the post, that is their group's current focus, and you can support them with this at home.
In some other topics such as Swimming, and Life Education, I will include more general learning intentions.   These posts may take the form of writing, photos of the children learning, and photos of our subject modelling books.
Our Reading groups all have 'space' type names, as our goal is to shoot up through the planets, as we make progress in Reading.
I hope you find this interesting and helpful.
Sue
